As the blessed month of Ramadan comes to a close and Eid al-Fitr approaches, many Muslims will be preparing to attend the congregational Eid prayer with their families and communities. To help make this easier, we have provided a downloadable excuse letter that can be used to request time off from work or school for this important occasion.
The letter may be given to an employer, a school, or a child’s school as a formal excuse for absence in order to attend the Eid prayer and observe this special day. Please download the attached letter below and use it as needed. We ask Allah to accept our fasting, prayers, and good deeds throughout Ramadan, and to allow us to reach Eid in goodness and gratitude.
